Email Professionalism Workshop

Email is an important method of business communication that is fast, cheap, accessible and easily replicated. Using email can greatly benefit businesses as it provides efficient and effective ways to transmit all kinds of electronic data. Having good email etiquette makes it more likely that people will respond positively to your emails. It shows people that you are professional and polite, and makes it less likely to cause misunderstandings.

Sometimes it can be very challenging to write a good professional email. Consequently, we, the Rotaract Club of Colombo Regent, collaborated with Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC, popularly known as DIMO, to help participants to understand email etiquette better to write a good professional email. DIMO is a company which acts as a good corporate citizen, following good global practices in corporate governance. They are commonly known for imports, automobile, agriculture, and engineering, that also has +100 partnerships with International Brands.

The webinar took place on 20th August, 2022 at 1.00 PM via Zoom. The guess speaker Ms. Suwatthi Kandiah: Assistant Manager – Employer Branding, Diversity and Inclusion of DIMO, conducted the session successfully on email etiquette.
